Tesla Wall Connector
Fixed AC charger for daily home or business charging
The main choice for regular overnight charging. Tesla Israel states that Wall Connector can provide up to 22 kW / 32 A. Actual power is limited by the vehicle and property supply. Gen 3 adds Wi-Fi, software updates, access control for Tesla vehicles and power sharing between multiple units.
Tesla Mobile Connector
Portable AC charging from a compatible wall outlet
Useful as a travel or backup solution. Tesla Israel currently lists a standard household-outlet adapter with up to 13 A / 3 kW. It is slower than a fixed Wall Connector and the outlet and circuit must be suitable for sustained load.
Tesla Destination Charging
AC charging at hotels, restaurants and parking facilities
Destination Chargers are usually Wall Connectors installed at places where drivers remain for a longer visit. They are designed to add energy while eating, sleeping, shopping or working rather than during a short road stop.
Tesla Supercharger
High-power DC charging for trips and rapid top-ups
Superchargers bypass the vehicle’s onboard AC charger and provide controlled DC power to the battery. Tesla Israel advertises up to 250 kW at supported sites and vehicles, with the actual rate varying during the session.
Public CCS Combo 2 charging
Charging a Tesla at compatible non-Tesla public stations
Tesla vehicles sold for Europe and Israel commonly use the Type 2 / CCS2 interface. AC Type 2 stations are useful for longer parking, while public CCS2 DC stations are intended for faster charging. Always verify vehicle and station compatibility.
Wall Connector generations and names
Gen 3 is the current Wall Connector family referenced by Tesla support for replacement, commissioning and group power management. Older Gen 2 units may still be installed. “Universal Wall Connector” is primarily a North American product name using North American connector standards; do not assume it is the correct product for Israel or a Type 2 vehicle.
